Head and neck
With worsted weight cotton, ch 2
Rnd 1: 6 sc in 2nd chain from hook, join with a slip stitch in 1st
sc,chain 1, do not turn.

Rnd 2: 2 sc in each stitch around, join with a slip stitch in 1st sc,
chain 1, do not turn. (12 sc total)
Rnd 3: ~ 1 sc in 1st stitch, 2 sc in next stitch~ repeat from ~
around, join with a slip
stitch in 1st sc, chain 1, do not turn. (18 sc total)
Rnd 4: 3 sc in joining stitch, ch 1 turn., (3 sc total)
Rnd 5: 2 sc in first stitch, sc in next stitch, 2 sc in last stitch,
chain 1and turn. ( 5 sc total)
Rnd 6: 1 sc in 1st stitch, 2 sc in next stitch, 1 sc in next stitch, 2
scin next stitch, 1 sc in last stitch, chain 1 and turn. (7 sc total)




Arms
Rnd 7: 1 sc in next 3 sc, chain 1 and turn. (3 sc total)
Rnds 8 thru 10: repeat rnd 7.

Finishing
Glue wiggly eyes, and heart button on gingerbread girl as in
picture. Glue rick rack around edge. When dry, stiffen ornament as per stiffener's directions .Paint wooden
heart red and glue on bodice of dress, as in picture. Add red
paint icing, as in picture.
When dry attach thin string to top of head for hanger.
