Head and neck
With worsted weight Off white cotton, ch 2
Rnd 1: 6 sc in 2nd chain from hook, join with a slip stitch in 1st sc, chain 1, do not turn. (6 sc total)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each stitch around, join with a slip stitch in 1st sc, chain 1, do not turn. (12 sc total)
Rnd 3: ~ 1 sc in 1st stitch, 2 sc in next stitch~ repeat from ~ around, join with a slip stitch in 1st sc, chain 1, do not turn. (18 sc total)
Rnd 4: Attach blue to same stitch as joining, chain 1, 1 sc in same space, 2sc in same space, chain 1 and turn. (3 sc total)
Rnd 5: Sc in 1st stitch, attach pink and sc in same stitch, sc in next stitch, sc in last stitch, change to blue and sc in same last stitch, ch 1 and turn.(5 sc total)
Rnd 6: 2 sc in 1st stitch, change to pink, sc in next 3 stitches, change to blue, 2 sc in last stitch, chain 1 and turn. (7 sc total)



Arms
Rnd 7: Sc in 1st stitch,, 2 sc in next stitch, chain 1 and turn. (3 sc total)
Rnds 8 thru 10: repeat rnd 7, fasten off.
Rnd 11: Attach off white, chain 1, dec over 1st 2 stitches, sc in last stitch, chain 1 turn. (2 sc total)
Rnd 12: Dec over both stitches, fasten off.
Rnd 13: Attach blue yarn to last stitch on Rnd 6, chain 1, sc in same stitch and next 2 stitches, chain 1 and turn. (3 sc total)
Rnds 14 thru 18: Repeat Rnds 8 thru 12, for second arm.
Fasten off.


Body
Rnd 19: Working between both arms, pick up pink yarn, in same stitch as arm is attached, chain 1, sc in same stitch,
sc in next stitch, sc in same stitch as other arm is attached to, chain 1 and turn. (3 sc total)
Rnd 20: 2 sc in 1st stitch, 1 sc in next stitch, 2 sc in last stitch, chain 1 and turn. (5 sc total)
Rnd 21: 1 sc in 1st stitch, 2 sc in next stitch, 1 sc in next stitch, 2 sc in next stitch, 1 sc in last stitch, chain 1 and turn. (7 sc total)
Rnd 22: Sc across, chain 1 and turn. (7 sc total)
Rnd 23: ~2 sc in 1st stitch. 1 sc in next stitch, repeat from ~ across, ending with 2 sc in last stitch, chain 1 and turn. (9 sc total)
Rnd 24: Sc in 1st stitch, 2 sc in next stitch, sc in next 5 stitches,2 sc in next stitch, sc in last stitch, fasten off. (9 sc total)



Legs
Rnd 25: Attach off white yarn to 3rd stitch from edge of skirt, chain 1, sc in same stitch, sc in next 2 stitches, chain 1 and turn. (3 sc total)
Rnd 26: Sc in each stitch across, fasten off.. (3 sc total)
Rnd 27: Attach blue yarn, chain 1, dec over 1st 2 stitches, sc in last stitch, chain 1 and turn. (2 sc total)
Rnd 28: Dec over both stitches, fasten off.
Rnd 29: Attach off white yarn in 3rd stitch from edge on rnd 24, sc in same stitch and next 2 stitches, chain 1 and turn. (3 sc total)
Rnds 30 thru 32: Work same as Rnds 26 thru 29.
Weave in ends.



Finishing
Use hook to latch hook pieces of red yarn around edge of head. Glue wiggly eyes, and heart as in picture. Paint eyelashes around eyes, and mouth as in picture When dry, stiffen ornament as per stiffener's directions. When dry an even length around head as per picture. Attach thin string to top of head for hanger.
